Information we collect
When you contact us or request an assessment through our website, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, the subject of your inquiry, and anything you write in your message. An assessment request can also include your Arabic experience, preferred class format, and general availability.
If you submit a Meta Instant Form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the information you provide in that form, such as your contact details, course interests, and answers to its questions. Meta also handles information under its own privacy policy.
Our free online level check processes your answers to calculate and display an estimated level. It does not ask for your name or email address. If you separately send an assessment request, that request is handled as described above.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider and any active analytics or advertising tags may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device details, pages visited, referral source, and cookie identifiers. The site also stores a session flag in your browser so the enrollment announcement does not keep reopening during the same session.
How we use information
- Respond to your inquiry and discuss courses, assessments, or enrollment.
- Deliver, maintain, secure, and improve the website and our services.
- Understand website visits and measure campaigns where analytics or advertising tags are active.
- Meet legal obligations and resolve disputes when necessary.
Sending an inquiry does not, by itself, sign you up for promotional emails or texts. We send those messages only when we have the consent required by law, and they will include a way to unsubscribe.
Who may receive information
Authorized academy staff and service providers may access information as needed for the purposes above. Our website is hosted by Vercel, and website inquiries are delivered to us through Resend. Meta processes Instant Forms submitted on its platforms. We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags when configured; the services behind those tags may also receive technical data.
If you choose a hosted payment link, Stripe handles checkout and payment information under its own terms. Links to services such as WhatsApp also take you to those providers, whose privacy practices apply. We may disclose information when required by law.
Some providers may process information outside Canada. In that case, it may be accessible under the laws of the country where it is processed.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information or withdraw consent where applicable. Email us at info@alfikracademy.com. You can also use your browser settings to manage cookies and other local storage. If you receive promotional messages from us, use the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contact us directly.
Retention and protection
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and limit access to people and providers who need it. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and policy updates
Our website and lead forms are intended for adults. Please do not submit a child's personal information without the consent of a parent or guardian. We may update this policy as our services or practices change and will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
